OPN-Zinc Spray
– zinc grey – zinc primer –
• about 93% zinc in dry film
• purity of used zinc 99%
• according to DIN 53151 – GT 0 and DIN 53152
Properties:
* excellent long term corrosion protection even in extreme weather
* highly resistant against salt and water, aggressive solvent vapours etc.
* electrically conductive – spot weldable
* good overpaintable with usual commercial lacquers after complete
drying, however test lacquer compatibility previously
* fast drying, thereby time-saving and economical use
* heat resistant up to about +500°C
Application Range:
* undercoating for following coating (before using test compatibility with the used laquer)
* repairing of welding-, drilling- and cutting intersectionpoints etc. on galvanized
constructions
* corrosion protection of metal parts
* coating of heat conducting parts
* as conducting coating for spot welding
* body works
* protection from aggressive agents etc.
Application:
Test suitability before use. Can should have room temperature and only be sprayed at good ventilated
areas. Shake can strongly for 2 minutes before every spraying process until the stirring ball is free. Try
and test on similar surface for material compatibility. Remove rust and degrease the surface
thoroughly and spray crosswise at a distance of 20 to 30 cm. In case of several layers let it dry for 5
minutes before spraying the next layer.
